2022 Oozegiving Turkey Drive

To kick off the 2022 holiday season, the Ooze Foundation hosted our annual Oozegiving Food Drive. This event has become a cherished tradition for our team and the Detroit community, as it allows us to come together and support one another during a time that can be especially difficult for many families. 

Oozegiving is all about giving back to our commnity by providing Thanksgiving dinners directly to people in need. For the past two years, we have set up a drive-thru at Skinner Park, where 300 families came to pick up their turkey, side dishes, and dessert. 

This year, we were thrilled to be able to provide even more to our community. In addition to a big, frozen turkey, we packed up boxes of stuffing and mac and cheese, cans of veggies and green bean casserole, and a sweet potato pie into a signature reusable Ooze bag. Our goal is and has been to make sure that everyone who comes through the drive-thru leaves with a full, hearty meal that they can enjoy and make memories with their loved ones.

We are incredibly grateful for the rich community we are a part of! On behalf of the Ooze Foundation, we want to say THANK YOU to all our incredible volunteers and partners who helped to make this event such a huge success!
