The Ooze Foundation is dedicated to giving back to the community through philanthropic events and monetary donations. Every year, we have been able to increase the size of our donations to causes that help support Michigan residents who need it most.
The Shades of Pink Foundation is one of the organizations we love supporting every October during Breast Cancer Awareness month. Shades of Pink is a Metro Detroit-based organization that helps breast cancer patients pay for their mortgage, medical bills, insurance, child care, and treatment transportation. For the last four years, the Ooze Foundation has been donating 100% of proceeds made from every pink and purple product sold in October to support Shades of Pink's mission to ease the financial burden of women with breast cancer. According to the Cancer Statistics Center, nearly 9000 women have been diagnosed with breast cancer in 2021, and Shades of Pink is a crucial player in helping these women through treatment. This year, we were able to donate $20,265 which will help support over 100 Michigan women. We are so incredibly proud of our customers for helping us make this possible. Being able to make a difference in our community is the main mission of the Ooze Foundation and we will continue to raise money for important causes that benefit the hard-working people of Michigan!
